GeneWeb is a free, open-source genealogy software program that offers users to create and manage their family trees online. Daniel de Rauglaudre developed it, and it was first released in 1998. GeneWeb uses a web-based interface that allows users to enter and store information about their ancestors, including names, dates of birth and death, and other biographical information.

Users can also upload photographs, documents, and other media files to their family trees. One of the unique features of GeneWeb is its ability to generate dynamic web pages for each individual in a user’s family tree, allowing users to share their research with family members and other researchers easily.
